A Little History: Microworx began in 1994 when Jeff and Kay Leist started working out of their Rochester home providing computer service and repair to Greater Rochester residents and area businesses. As computers flourished, their business grew and Microworx expanded its operation to a retail and service center on S. Goodman, and additional sales and service staff were hired on.

In 2001, Microworx acquired another local computer store, Serviceland, which had been serving the local community since 1984. The Serviceland acquisition added a second location for Microworx on Winton Avenue in Henrietta, and total staff grew to 20.

As Microworx's business expanded, a new retail showroom was constructed on Allens Creek, and Microworx consolidated its two locations to reside at their new corporate headquarters at 20 Allens Creek Road. Microworx has a state-of-the-art 30-bay computer service center and drop-off counter, as well as a 4,000 sq. ft. retail showroom, executive offices and warehouse.
